Joining TalkTalk Business

Once you've placed your order to join TalkTalk Business, we'll take care of everything for you. You'll receive an order confirmation via email including all the details of your chosen package and services.  After your new TalkTalk Business services are activated, we recommend contacting your old provider to confirm your previous services have been cancelled.

When will my router arrive?

We'll send out your router 2- 3 days prior to your activation date so it should reach you in time for your services going live.

How do I track my router?

Our routers are delivered by Royal Mail and are trackable. Please Contact us to track your router, or find out more about router delivery.


Can I use my current router?

The Simply and Complete Broadband packages include our TalkTalk Business wireless router free of charge. To get the best from your connection, we recommend using your new TalkTalk Business router, and we can also offer setup advice and technical help you get started.

If you have a router which wasn't supplied by TalkTalk Business it will still be compatible with our services, but if you need any technical support it's best to contact your router manufacturer directly. When will my services be activated?

When you place your order we'll send you an order confirmation email, and once your order has been processed we'll confirm your expected activation date via email.


Will there be any downtime on my activation day?

We'll keep you up to date throughout the day on the progress of your activation, and we aim to keep downtime to a minimum. In most cases there won't be any interruption to your services, and we'll let you know if you're going to be offline for a short time.

Can I keep my phone number?

Yes, in most cases you can bring your current number to TalkTalk Business. We'll confirm this with you when you place your order, and if we're unable to transfer your number we'll provide you with a brand new one.

If you're joining us from Virgin Media Business we'll need to install a new line for you and provide you with a new landline number.

Will my line rental switch to TalkTalk Business?

We like to keep things simple so when you join TalkTalk Business we'll send you one bill per month including your line rental and broadband charges.

Can I keep my old email address?

If you have an email address with your previous provider, you will need to check with them to make sure your email address can be kept active.

If your email is web based, e.g   Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail then your email account would not be affected.
